Brussels Airlines launches #ThisIsMyToronto, creating a locals guide to Toronto

Brussels Airlines is preparing to launch its first direct flights between Brussels and Toronto on 27 March. It is the very first time that the Belgian-based airline will set sail for Canada, so to show Belgians what Toronto has to offer, they call all the people of Toronto to show off “their” city. With all their insider tips, Brussels Airlines wants to create a visual guide to promote Toronto to Belgian travelers.

Toronto locals can post their best travel tips on Instagram until 13 March included using the hashtag #ThisIsMyToronto and mentioning the airline’s account @FlyingBrussels. The owner of the best tip will get the chance to visit Belgium in return as he or she wins two flight tickets on Brussels Airlines. The aim of the campaign is to show Toronto to Belgians from a local’s perspective and to go beyond the standard travel guide tips. On the other hand it wants to create awareness about Belgium and Brussels Airlines’ flights in the Canadian market.

Over 300 photos have already been posted on Instagram so far. Dicover all #ThisIsMyToronto tips and more information about the campaign here
