Brussels Airlines’ lounge wins “Europe’s Leading Airline Lounge” award for the sixth time in a row

THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus stays at the top at the World Travel Awards

Brussels, March 6th 2024 – For an impressive sixth time in a row, THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus is awarded “Europe’s Leading Airline Lounge” at the World Travel Awards in Berlin. Travelers from all over the world could vote for this award. The airline continuously adjusts the lounge to give its customers a high-value product.

THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus is the airlines’ lounge in the Schengen zone of Brussels Airport. It offers a variety of seating options to allow guests to work, relax or eat and drink. There are dedicated nap rooms and showers. The lounge is open for Business Class passengers, as well as status holders of the Miles and More loyalty program, and Star Alliance Gold members. Passengers who travel with Brussels Airlines in Economy Class can enter the lounge for a fee during off-peak moments.

“Based on the feedback of our guests, we keep on smartly investing in our lounge to remain at the top. We recently renovated the shower suites, improved the set-up of the buffet, and introduced an ‘a la carte’ menu in the HON area, just to name a few examples. I am so humble and honoured that we are granted this award for the sixth time in a row. I warmly thank the entire lounge team as well as partners and suppliers for their efforts every single day to make this lounge as great as it is.”
- Olivier Brynaert, Head of Customer Experience, Brussels Airlines

Brussels Airlines plans even more improvements for THE LOFT, such as a revamped coffee corner, in close collaboration with Rombouts coffee, and regular events with a focus on Belgitude. This comes on top other strong partnerships with Neuhaus and Grohe.

“This award recognises the winning formula of superb customer experience and inspiring design at THE LOFT. At Lexus, we aim to help customers ‘experience amazing’. We do this by applying Omotenashi to every aspect of their journey. This is as true of THE LOFT as it is for our cars – from the flagship Lexus LM to the compact Lexus LBX – recently voted What Car? ‘Car of the Year 2024’.”
-
Filip Belmans, Head of Communications & Customer Experience at Lexus Europe, Lexus
