Avis Europe and Brussels Airlines sign preferred partnership

Worldwide car rental specialist Avis Europe and the Belgian airline company Brussels Airlines have last week signed a deal, making Avis the preferred car rental partner of Brussels Airlines. Customers booking their flight through Brussels Airlines will, now more than ever, be able to experience the combined premium services of both Avis and Brussels Airlines.

Car rental can be booked immediately on www.brusselsairlines.com; the perfect opportunity for a fly and drive holiday to e.g. France and Italy. Customers of the frequent flyer programs Privilege can earn miles with each rental.

Rudi Maex, VP Channel Development and Service Delivery of Brussels Airlines comments: “We are very pleased with having Avis as our partner, a strong brand linked to exceptional service that ties up well with our commitment to always exceed customer expectations. This partnership will allow customers to have a smoother travel experience and take advantage of the many special actions that we are planning together to delight them.”

Armand Kiès, International Sales Manager Avis Benelux, said: “We are looking forward to working with Brussels Airlines and building on the synergies between our brands to provide the best service to our mutual customers. The new partnership reflects our commitment to the Airline and our belief in their brand values. Together we can make travel easier and more efficient.”

To celebrate this new preferred partnership Avis and Brussels Airlines have launched a competition for all customers renting an Avis car through Brussels Airlines from today until the end of June. Customers can win a luxury dream holiday to Italy, Spain or France. Avis is also offering a launch promotion of up to 15% discount on European car rental between May 19th and October 31st, 2009.
