With its kilometers long sandy beaches, many cala’s (bays) and green inland, Mallorca appeals to both beach- and nature lovers. Sportsmen and cycling amateurs often come to the island for training purposes. Mallorca has undergone a real metamorphosis and the capital Palma has become a hotspot with many lounge bars and boutique hotels.

In recent years, Brussels Airlines has significantly expanded its offer in Spain. Two years ago, Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Ibiza were added to the network. Last summer, Jerez de la Frontera joined the portfolio. With Palma de Mallorca, Brussels Airlines will serve no less than 10 Spanish destinations.

Mallorca is the sixth new destination that Brussels Airlines launches in 2017, after previously announcing Mumbai (India), Yerevan (Armenië), Comiso (Sicily, Italy), Rhode (Greece) and Funchal (Madeira, Portugal).
