Dr. Stefan Kreuzpaintner, new Vice President Pricing & Revenue Management at Brussels Airlines

Starting March 1st, 2015, Dr. Stefan Kreuzpaintner will be the new Vice President Pricing & Revenue Management of Brussels Airlines. Together with his team and based on the recently introduced new commercial positioning of the Belgian airline, he will make sure that the company stays at the forefront of the most advanced and dynamic Pricing & Revenue Management systems, while at the same time ensuring the competitiveness of Brussels Airlines.

Dr. Stefan Kreuzpaintner started his career with Lufthansa in Frankfurt in 2003 looking after network planning for Africa and Middle East. Thereafter, he was responsible for the company’s network management processes, namely network planning and revenue management. In 2007 he joined the Revenue Management team of Munich Airport, the airline’s second hub. Only two years later, in 2009, he was appointed Director Revenue Management Hub Munich. Since October 1st 2012, he is acting as Lufthansa General Manager responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the Lufthansa Group members (including Brussels Airlines) in the strategic markets of Spain and Portugal.

Prior to joining Lufthansa, Stefan Kreuzpaintner completed a training program with Dresdner Bank and then enrolled with the University of Maastricht in Economics and International Management. In 2003 he received a Ph.D in International Management at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland.

Dr. Kreuzpaintner is married with two children. Next to his mother language German, he speaks fluent English, Spanish and has an advanced knowledge of French.
